
Mark Stanley Scott, age 55, took the checkered flag at Kindred Hospital in Greenfield on April 8, 2011. Mark was born on October 3, 1955 to Stanley and Ruth (Fleming) Scott of Racine. He spent his entire life in Racine and loved attending the many downtown festivities.
Mark was an avid NASCAR fan and also enjoyed cheering on the Packers. Mark was a devoted friend and confidant to many and was always available to help those in need. Mark’s great sense of humor brought special meaning to gatherings with family and friends. He enjoyed frequent trips to Crivitz, Wautoma, and Lake Geneva. Family meant everything to Mark. He especially enjoyed spending time with his many nieces, nephews, and their children. He was a painter and owned Scott’s Decorating from 1987 until 2003. Mark was always the Duct Tape Specialist.
He is survived by his mother Ruth E. (Fleming) Scott, his brother Donald (Kathy Vollmer) Scott, his sisters Lee (John) Davis, Lynn (George) Barrows, brother Gary (Jeri) Scott, his special friend Cyndie Doney, his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mark was preceded in death by his father Stanley K. Scott in 1991.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial in celebration of Mark's life will be held at the Moose Lodge, 5530 Middle Rd, on Thursday, April 14th, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Contributions can be directed to the family, and they will establish a memorial at a later date.
