A private interment took place at Graceland Cemetery.
FRANKSVILLE- Michael D. Bishop, 69, passed away at his residence on Saturday, February 11, 2023.
He was born in Racine on February 16, 1953, the son of the late Frank and Geneva (nee Bradley) Bishop, Sr.
Michael worked as an industrial painter and sandblaster for Midwest Surface Cleaning. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing, hunting, camping, and especially boating.
He is survived by his significant other of 25 years, Tammy Sjolander of Franksville; his sons and daughter, Michael (Joyce) Bishop, Jr. of Caledonia, Frank Bishop, and Rosie Bishop both of Racine; his grandsons, Alex and LaShawn; his sisters, Lila (Joe) Kuta and Patricia Harden; as well as nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his daughter, Jeannette Williams; his grandson, DeShawn Williams; and his sister, Mary Zachler.
A private interment took place at Graceland Cemetery.
