Myron spent his formative years playing and working on many farms in Vernon County. After graduating from Viroqua High School, he served his country with the U.S. Army. Myron also loved spending time “north of the tension zone” at his cabin in Adams County. Some of his favorite hobbies were golf, fishing, cutting wood, woodworking, gardening, playing pool, and sitting in the sun. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and was affectionately referred to as “Grandpa K.”
Myron was preceded in death by JoAnn in February of 2007. He was also preceded in death by his parents; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Gordon and Carol Munyon; his brothers, John and LaVerne; his brother-in-law, Jerry Munyon.
In March of 2010, he was united in marriage to Nancy Ripp Scripko who currently resides in Racine. Nancy and Myron enjoyed traveling and their time in Tucson, Arizona at Wagons West.

Gene and Diane Aiello says
Dear Nancy and family,
We are very sorry for your loss. Myron was a kind man and a great neighbor. He always had a big smile and kind words to share with us.
He often asked about our son, Michael. He wanted to know how he was doing in his baseball career and where he was playing.
Myron always had time for a friendly chat and a cold beer with Gene. Gene often looked forward to relaxing and talking with Myron.
Lastly, Myron loved our Golden Retriever, Gracie. She would sit at the fence patiently waiting for him to come out and share a treat. I dont know who was more excited to see one another – Gracie or Myron.
Our deepest sympathy to all of you.
Gene and Diane Aiello

You are all in our thoughts and prayers. We were very fortunate to have gotten to know Myron over the years. We had some conversations with him at the farm and at Fish Lake. Lots of virtual hugs for now.
Bev Iverson Bedford says
Myron came into my life about 10 years ago while I still lived in Racine. I liked him instantly from day one. He was such a mild, kindly, welcoming and helpful person who really loved people. Nancy”s friends were his friends. The coffee pot was on and the homemade cookies were offered within five minutes of arrival. What followed was a pleasant rambling chat with a man at peace with himself.
