On March 28, 2002, he dedicated his life to Christ and was baptized at Midtown Church of Christ where we remained a devoted member until his passing. Morris served on the finance committee for many years with his last day of service being October 19, 2020. Morris enjoyed attending church, going to Bible Study, barbecuing, listening to music, playing the lottery and scratch offs, but most importantly, he loved the Chicago Bulls.

We send our condolences to Aunt Delores, Butch, Debbie, Brian and Carolyn. I have fond childhood memories of time spent with the family in Racine in the Mead St neighborhood. I have always respected Uncle Morris and held him in high regards as one of the patriarchs of our family. He leaves a cherished legacy of integrity, hard work, and dedication to his family. Most importantly, I am happy to know he accepted Christ as his personal savior and has received the promise of eternal life.
May his life and achievements continue to be an inspiration for and provide comfort to the rest of the family.
God Bless

Many prayers in behalf of your entire family during the weeks and months to come . Your Husband,Dad ,Uncle ,Grandpa was such a fond part of my childhood memory in Indianapolis Indiana during the summer months when you visited with your Grandma Mary Blythe. That’s when I forged a bond with your family some fifty or more years ago . His pleasant smile and kind warm spirit touched the lives of all who met him . I can’t wait til the time when we will see him again without the sting of death (Revelation 21:3,4). May you find comfort in your memories and hope from the scriptures as you go through the months and years ahead . Love you dearly David and Robin (Redd) Perry

Brother Sims
The world lost a True and Honest Solider of Christ. I would like to give my condolences to all the Sims Family and Relatives. I know Brother Sims love his family more than anyone can ever image. He always brought Sunshine to dreary days. He always respect everyone no matter what their opinions were even if their were not right. He even found the best ways to let the truth be heard and known. He dearly love the Lord and was always looking for more information about God to endure and find truth. I will truly missed my Beloved Brother and friend in Christ. Rest In Peace Forever .
