We are sad to announce the passing of Noah Malik Phillips of Racine, Wisconsin, on October 18, 2023. He was taken from us suddenly at the young age of 24. Noah was born in Kenosha on June 30, 1999, at Aurora Medical Center. He grew up in Racine and was born into True Life Church where he was dedicated to Christ. Noah had a big smile, big heart, and the most captivating laugh. He loved making people laugh and tried to lift everyoneโs spirit. No matter the challenges that life brought him, he always saw the bright side of things. He had the love and respect of everyone who came to know him. Noah would do anything for anyone. He loved God, his family, and his friends. He played football all through high school but was also an artist and loved writing and recording music. Noah completed high school and was in trade school for contracting. He also mentored and tutored young adults to continue their education as he did. Noah was a dedicated father to his daughter, Malayna Larson, age 6. He loved her more than anything in this world. He looked forward to every moment he spent with her. Noah had many childhood friends and remained close to them even as an adult. He was truly on the path to bettering his life for him and his daughter when he was called home. Noah cherished his memories with his beloved friends, cousins, siblings, and his daughter. Noah will be sadly missed by his daughter, Malayna Phillips (her mother, Abigail Larson); his mother, Nina (Belmares) Gutierrez; his father, Hamin Phillips; his brothers, Christian (Nikko) Gutierrez, River Gutierrez; his sisters, Angelina Gutierrez and Aubriella Phillips; Grandpa Hamin (Dude) Mohammed; his nieces and nephew, Mia, Lilliana, Malory and Apallo; his step parents, Joe Graceffa and family and Kate Ziebell and family; many, many other aunts, uncles cousins, extended family and beloved friends, especially Anthony Bennett, Elias and Angelo Robles, and Cara and Caitlin Sheehan. Noah was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Judy Phillips and Virginia Belmares, along with other close relatives. Noah was always happy, smiling, friendly, social, loving, and creative. He loved to express his creativity through his music. He was also a mentor to many friends and family. He was a light to this world, and he will be deeply missed as he goes home to rest with his Heavenly Father.
