Petals by FeliciaSturtevant – Otis Townsend, formerly of Racine, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at the age of 83. On October 26, 1955 he was united in matrimony to Corinza White. Corinza preceded him in death on November 7, 2013.

He liked to socialize with his friends and neighbors on Mead Street; enjoyed Pepsi and Swiss Cake Rolls; watching old westerns and everything else on MeTV. Above all though, it was his children that gave him the most joy, and he loved to brag about them.

Townsend of Elgin, Illinois; as well as many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by his parents, his son Otis Townsend III; sister Mary Singleton; brothers Tom Townsend and W.B. Townsend.
