Patricia Lee Raichert, 67, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on July 14, 2008. She began her wonderful journey in life on January 12, 1941, daughter of the late Ralph and Dagny (Petersen) Ryan. Pat was a proud member of St. Catherine’s High School “Class of 1960”.
Patricia was a woman of many accomplishments and talents. She enjoyed a 40-year modeling career, and was named “Model of the Year” in 1972. She was a successful artist, and created an abstract expression entitled will o’ wisps, for which she won numerous awards, including Watercolor Wisconsin. Her work has been included in the permanent collection at Wustum museum. Pat also had a traditional career, having worked at Hamilton Beach, Porters of Racine, Estate Sales, Surgitek, Eitels, and Talbot’s. She was gracious and caring, and left a lasting impression upon all who met her.
She is survived by her dance partner and beloved husband, Lance; her daughter and best friend Susan (Bryan) Bertermann Klus; daughter Kira Raichert (Scott Benkert), and son Lane (Valerie) Raichert; grandchildren, Stefanie Klus, Anders Raichert, Ben Raichert, and Cooper Raichert; brothers, Thomas (Judy) Ryan and Ralph (Butch) Ryan; dear friends Catherine and Michael Scoon; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and many cherished and devoted friends.
In keeping with Patricia’s wishes there will be no traditional services, instead, a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
