Homegoing Services for Quirinius will held at New Omega Baptist Church, 5731 Northwestern Avenue, Racine on Saturday, July 15 at 12:00PM. Visitation will be in the church at 11:00AM until the time of service.
Quirinius Williams, lovingly referred to as “Qui”, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2023. He was born in Racine, WI on January 14, 1986, the youngest son of TJ & Cora Williams. Quirinius received his education in the Racine Unified School System from Washington Park Academy, graduating in June, 2005, Gateway Technical Collège Racine, WI., and worked for several manufacturing companies throughout the state of Wisconsin with an interest in engineering, electronics and a vision of someday starting his own business. Some of his various interests were sports, especially basketball and football. He was an honor student, and his favorite subject was mathematics. Chess was his favorite board game, and he also enjoyed playing video games with family and friends. His father, TJ, was his ‘HERO’ who coached him during his elementary and middle school years. He had a great sense of humor.
Quirinius professed at an early age his relationship with Christ as his Lord and Savior. On his journey through life, he professed to dedicating his life and love for the Lord. Quirinius loved meeting new people, challenging and reminiscing with family and friends.
Quirinius leaves to cherish his memories his daughter, Jequiasha Williams and stepson, Jemire Hollis, whom he loved and cherished as well as stepdaughter, Jhene Hollis all of Racine, Wisconsin; his loving mother, Cora L. (Young) Williams; his brother, Tarmiento J. Williams of Racine; sisters, Diane Brown of Cleveland, Mississippi, Juanita Jackson, of Inkster, Michigan, Lateesha Rash of Milwaukee, WI; A special friend, Jessica Hollis, the mother of his children, Jequiasha Williams, Jemire Hollis, and Jhene Hollis; aunts, Easter (Hymes) Griffin, Ruthie Wilson, both of Memphis, Tennessee, Bettie (Paul) Poole of Racine, Wisconsin, Jeanette Young-Moore of Boyle, Mississippi, Linda Williams of Milwaukee, Patricia Span of Shaw, Mississippi, Dorsey Noble of Madison, Wisconsin, and Lacretia Peavy of Gulfport, Mississippi; uncles, Troy and (Lelia) Young of Chicago, Illinois, Oliver Williams of Newburgh, NY, R. P. (Patricia) Williams of Cleveland, Mississippi, Travis (Ruby) Williams of Cleveland, Mississippi; nephews, Tarmiento Williams Jr., Keshon Williams, Kyron K. Williams, Kyheim Y. Williams, L’Garis Thomas, Taquill Eatmon, and Travion Eatmon; niece, K’Neesha Jackson; great-nephew, Samir Williams, and a host of relatives and friends. Quirinius Williams was preceded in death by his loving father, TJ Williams, and brother, Kyron Williams; his maternal grandparents, Luther and Bessie Young, and paternal grandparents, George and Georgia Williams.
