
Racine- Rebbecca L. Anderson, 61, passed away at Woodstock Care Center in Kenosha, under the compassionate care of Hospice Advantage, on Saturday morning, May 21, 2011 following a courageous battle with cancer.
Rebbecca was born in Monica, Illinois on October 26, 1949 to the late George Simpson and Velma (nee: Camp) Fought. She graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School in Kenosha. On April 10, 1976, she was united in marriage with Richard W. Anderson.
Among her interests, Rebbecca enjoyed solving crossword and jigsaw puzzles. More importantly, she was a doting grandmother who cherished being in the surroundings of her entire family.
Surviving are her husband of 35 years, Richard; children, Eric (Jackie) Simpson and Tracy (Morgan) McDonough; granddaughters, Molly and Baylee McDonough; brothers, Richard (Tracy) Simpson, Roy Simpson and Edwin Klocke; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service celebrating Beckie’s life will be held in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 6:00 pm with Rev. Jeffrey M. Thielen officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-6 pm. In accordance with Beckie’s wishes, cremation will take place and private interment will be held.
