Eric Hornyak (Nephew) says
Dear family and friends,
I would like to express my sincere condolences to everyone in the passing of Richard Hornyak, best known to those who loved him as “Dick”, and to me as “Uncle Dick”.
Even though we will all mourn his loss in our own special way; I believe there is one memory of him that we all can carry forward, his smile… For me, I cannot recall a time that he was not smiling. Whether I saw him in the bowling alley, on the golf course, or at family gatherings, he was always smiling. To me it was an infectious smile that you could not ignore and had to return in kind. That smile of his is and will always be my fondest memory of my uncle. Thanks “Uncle Dick” for making me smile!
For those closest to him, you are in my thoughts. I hope you find peace and comfort in your own way during these times, but most importantly please remember him with a smile.
