Richard E. Rozzoni, age 82 of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 26, 2021 at his residence with his loving family at his side. Rich was born in Kenosha on August 15, 1938, the oldest son of the late Willard and Lillian (nee: Bierdz) Rozzoni. He attended local schools and was a graduate of Mary D, Bradford High School. From there, he served in the Wisconsin National Guard, being called to active duty serving as an Army Staff Sergeant of the 32nd Infantry Division Artillery during the Berlin Crisis. He was honorably discharged in September, 1963.
On September 25, 1971 in Kenosha, he was united in marriage to Fran Patterson. Together they raised two wonderful children.
Rich was employed in the construction industry for many years, primarily working with Camosy Construction, Inc.
His life centered around his family. He especially enjoyed hosting the annual 4th of July picnic for over 30 years, where he was the “lifeguard ” on duty and the “master griller”. Despite the many “bumps in the road” Rich encountered, he never missed an opportunity to cheer on his grandchildren at sporting, dance, and theatre events. He also loved spending time with his friends at the golf course and meeting at the “19th Hole”, Sunnyside Club. He also looked forward to his daily bike rides.
In addition to his parents, Willard and Lillian Rozzoni, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Rozzoni; sisters-in-law, Gail Rozzoni and Sherry Beam ; his mother-in-law, Vera Patterson. He will be sadly missed and always remembered by his wife, Fran; his two children, Jason (Cathe) Rozzoni and Jamie Andrews; his grandchildren, Kyle, Nick, and Lauren Andrews, and Abigail and Gavin Rozzoni; his siblings, Sandra (Ray) Ziegler, Willard (Anne Marie) Rozzoni, Jr. and David (Diana) Rozzoni. He will also be missed by his son-in-law, Todd Andrews, and close family friends, Sue Pavlovich and Dave Hamelink Sr. , as well as many nieces and nephews. The family would also like to extend a special thanks to Becca, Lisa, and Jessica from Hospice, who made his last days comfortable.

Farewell, my friend. May your Heaven be rolling fairways and the greenest of greens, where pars and birdies abound, and the ball never rolls into the rough. You will be missed.

We always looked forward to visiting Uncle Richie, Aunt Fran, and their Children whenever we could; especially making that 4th of July Cookout tradition and though there were many years when we were literally separated by different oceans, we thought of them often and missed them dearly.
Uncle Rich always had great stories to share; a bubbling sense of humor that even the straightest stick-in-the-mud couldn’t help but smile at; a deep Italian sun tan that was the envy of most and we always admired what a kind and generous Husband and Dad he was, and of course, a doting Grand-Dad as well.
We wish is that we could have lived closer and been blessed with the opportunity to spend more time together with them. Never will a 4th of July pass again that we won’t be thinking of the Grill Master himself, Uncle Richie. Our hearts swell in both love and sadness as we say farewell to such a great man and we send our love to Aunt Fran, Jason, Jamie, and their families. (I’m not sure that there are golf courses in Heaven, but if there isn’t, I’d like to think that one has been built just for him) Love, The Gardiners

I always enjoyed being around Rich. We had good times golfing and a lot of laughs afterwards at the Sunnyside . I am sorry for your loss.
