Rick loved the outdoors. He enjoyed spending time “up north” in Freemont, Yellow Lake, and Rhinelander. He was an avid fisherman and really enjoyed ice fishing. Rick loved his honey hole at Wind Lake (where they never caught any fish). He was a sports fan of all Wisconsin sports teams. Above all, he treasured his family and loved being a proud grandpa.

To the entire Kucharski Family: I am just overwhelmed by seeing Rick has left us, so young. I really liked Rick, when we were at Dumore In Racine. He was alway’s a hard worker just like his dad. This truly breaks my heart, but i’m happy he was able to enjoy several grandchildren. To all of those he left behind, words will never heal you’re hearts, only time. I hope you can talk together and share all the good times you had together. My deepest sympathy.

Rick was truly an amazing man. A devoted husband, loving father and grandfather. He would go out of his way to help anyone who needed it. He was funny, fun to be around, loving, caring, and so full of life. I had the extreme pleasure of having him as not only my brother-in-law but my friend for 40 years. The memories I have of years with him and my sister and our families fill my heart with joy. He left us way too soon and will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts. I love you Rick, may you finally rest in peace.

2 Timothy 4:7-8 English Standard Version (ESV)
“7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing.”
Rick you fought the good fight! You remained strong for your family all throughout your life even when you felt your worse. Your smile and laughter was contagious. Although I intentionally and sometimes unintentionally annoyed you, you put up with me throughout the years. You and Sandi loved each other with all your heart and soul. Katie-Lynne & Jeremy were your pride and joy along with your grand-pets and grandchildren. You are no longer with us physically but our hearts will feel your presence and the memories will never fade. Rest in peace my friend. You deserve it. I love you and here’s a big hug and smile 🙂

We didnt hang out too much but the times we did, I enjoyed. We spent a lot of time talking about life and how it feels. He was one of the least selfish and most determined people I have known, a genuinely good person. I will miss him ,but also remember the funny things he said to me and the time we did spend together.
