Miller's FlowersRacine – Robert John Olley, age 73, passed away at Ascension – All Saints Hospital on Wednesday, May 24, 2017.
Bob was born in Kenosha on April 2, 1944 to the late Lewis “Milt” and Helen (nee: Lippert) Olley. He was a 1962 graduate of St. Catherine’s High School. Bob retired from PRP Wines in 2009. On February 6, 2009 in St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church, he was united in marriage with Theresa “Terri” (nee: Kaisler).
Bob was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. He was a NASCAR fan, enjoyed visiting area casinos, and getting together with his cousins for lunch. Above all, Bob loved spending time with his entire family.
Surviving are his loving wife, Terri; sister, Pat (Jerry) Beth; sisters-in-law, Paulette (Jeff) Bahr and Bonnie Olley; brother-in-law, Jeff (Diane) Kaisler; uncle, Jerry Olley; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Olley.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 11:00 in St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6400 Spring Street, with Rev. Ken Mich and Rev. Paul Lippert officiating. Internment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:30 – 7:30 pm and in the church on Wednesday from 10:00 am – 11:00 am. Memorials to the American Cancer Society, American Lung Association or to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church have been suggested.
A special note of thanks to Ascension – All Saints ICU for the compassionate care and support given in Bob’s time of need. May God bless all of you!
