
Robert L. Dunn, 64, passed away quietly at his residence on December 2, 2010 following a brief illness. Robert was born in Tarentum, PA on March 16, 1946 the son of the late Betty June (nee: Moore) Dunn and William Pollock.
Robert proudly served his country 4 years active with the United States Air Force; 16 years with the Air National Guard Reserves with the 128th Civil Engineering Unit in Milwaukee retiring in 1998. He especially enjoyed talking about all the places he traveled with the Air National Guard.
Robert was a well respected patrolman with the Racine Police Department retiring in 1998 after 30 years of service. He was also a member in the Racine Police Association. After retiring Robert in 1998 Robert moved to Las Vegas.
Robert, whom his friends knew as “Bob”, enjoyed hunting, motorcycle riding, bowling, golfing, and watching his Green Bay Packers.
Robert is survived by his wife, Debra (nee: Ernst) Dunn, of Las Vegas; children, Manuel (Nita) Dunn, Darla Newhouse, all of Kenosha, Tina (Michael) Waldron, of Racine,; grandchildren, Troy Johnson, Mariah Newhouse, Kelly Dunn, Kasey Bush, all of Kenosha, Michael II and Matthew Waldron, and his brother, Alfred (Kimberly) Dunn, all of Racine, other relatives and many dear friends in Las Vegas, Nevada.
His funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, December 13th at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Stephen Samuelson officiating.
Visitation will be in the funeral home on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial, with full military honors, will follow in the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 21731 Spring St. Union Grove, WI. In lieu of flowers memorials can be directed to your favorite
