Robert Stephen Brown

Service Details

A private interment will take place at Mound Cemetery.

RACINE – Robert S. Brown, 63, passed away at Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie on Tuesday, September 3, 2024.

He was born in Racine on April 1, 1961, to James and Nancy (nee Hatlem) Brown.  He graduated from William Horlick High School and the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater.

Bob married Christine Rule on August 15, 1998.  She preceded him in death on January 5, 2015.

He taught physical education at St. Joseph and St. John Catholic Schools for over 15 years before changing his career to automobile detailing for Erickson Auto Trim.  In his free time, Bob enjoyed playing golf and was a sports enthusiast.

Bob is survived by his father, James F. Brown; his brothers, Jim Brown and Charlie Brown; as well as his nephews, Connor and Jacob Brown.  In addition to his wife Christine, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Jessica Brown and his mother, Nancy Brown.

A private interment will take place at Mound Cemetery.

    Bob was family to us. He was my 3rd goofy little brother. He will be greatly missed. Especially at Christmas Eve. I will always think of his “motto”. When I think of Bob. “Fun is good”. Love you Bobby!!

    My sincere condolences to the Brown family. Dealing with the death of a son and a brother never comes easily. But with faith and the hope of the hereafter, all who knew Bob can take solace in the fact that he is now pain-free and at rest. May eternal rest be his.

    I am so sorry to hear about Bobby. My thoughts and prayers go out to Mr. Brown, Jimmer, Charlie and the rest of the family. Bobby and I grew up in the same neighborhood and new each other since preschool. Gone too soon.
