Services celebrating Rudy’s life will be on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 2:00 pm in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:30–2:00 pm.

Racine – Rodolfo “Rudy” Renteria, Jr., age 80, passed away peacefully at The Villa at Lincoln Park, surrounded with the love of his family, on Thursday, February 7, 2019.
Rodolfo was born in Robstown, TX on October 17, 1938. On September 29, 1961, he was united in marriage with Sarah (nee: Gonzales) Renteria, who preceded Rudy in death on July 19, 2009. With a profound and tireless work ethic, he was employed by Rainfair, JI Case, Modine Mfg. and Western Publishing, from where he retired after many years of work.
Among his interests, Rudy was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting with his canine companions, tending to his yard & gardens, exploring historical landmarks & museums, and spoiling his German Shepherds. Above all, Rudy loved spending time with his entire family.
Surviving are his children, Ilda (Robin) Dresen, Rodolfo (Theresa) Renteria III, Daniel (Carrie) Renteria, Richard (Laura) Renteria, Esmeralda (Dwayne) Dietrich, Gloria Renteria and Nicholas Renteria; daughter-in-law, Bertha Renteria; grandchildren, Christopher, Joshua, Joseph, Bradley “Sepio”, Ivana, Sarah Jane, Rudy, McKenzie, Justin, Daniel Jr., Steven, Anthony, Tayler, Tielor, Dakota, Jared and Toni Girl; great-grandchildren, Isabella, Rudy, Josiah, Mia, Jacob, Ava, Angelo, Christopher Jr., Ariana, Aubree, Collin and Greyson; brother, Robert (Emma) Renteria; sisters, Gloria (the late Mingo) Poblano and Maria “Mimi” (Daniel) Sanchez; special nephews, Johnny, Manuel, Bobby and Irene Renteria; Wally, Mando, “Nuko”, JoJo, Julie and Rudy Ramirez; Jose, Corey, Yolando, Monica and Jacob Pablano; step-grandchildren, Stephanie, Trisha, Timothy, Carley, Angelo, Jadelise and Jayden, other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
