
Racine – Roger L. Kent, 53, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Sunday, November 9, 2008 at All Saints Hospital. He was born in Racine on November 5, 1955, son of Roger and Phyllis (nee: Hart) Kent. He was a lifetime area resident. Roger worked as a production scheduler at Burlington Graphics from 1999-2007. He previously worked at Western Publishing, and JI Case. He enjoyed hunting and fishing whenever he could, and was a devoted Badger and Packer fan. He was also an avid reader who enjoyed completing crossword puzzles.
He is survived by his parents, Roger Kent of Gilmanton, and Phyllis Kent of Racine; brothers and sisters, Mindy (Rick) Hetland, Greg (Donna) Kent, Barry (Lisa) Kent, Jenny (Jim) Schumacher all of Racine, Pamela (Russell) Howard of Nelson B.C., Canada, Brian (Kim) Kent of Burlington, Vermont, Kerry (Christine) Kent of Eagle River, Alaska, and Mike Kent of Gilmanton; nieces and nephews, Kendra (Dave) Corkins, Kayla Hetland, Fuchsia Howard, Tess Kent, Neil Kent, Max Kent, Steven Schumacher, Megan Schmacher, Jamie Kent, and Scott Kent; as well as other relatives and friends.
Visitation will begin in the funeral home at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2008, and conclude with a Time of Remembrance at 7:30 p.m. Memorials to WFH All Saints Foundation have been suggested.
Our family would like to express our thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of All Saints hospital, the ICU, and especially to Miranda, Melissa, and Ruth of 2D.
