A celebration of Ron’s life will be held on Friday, October 30, 2020, 6:00pm, at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory, 4600 County Line Road. Visitation will be from 4:00pm until the time of the service. Private burial will take place on All Saints Cemetery on a later date.

Kenosha – Ronald Joseph Schweninger, 73, received the promise of eternal life on Sunday, October 18, 2020. He was born in Milwaukee on November 13, 1946, son of the late Robert and Mildred (Née: Kasseckert) Schweninger.
Ron was united to the love of his life, the former Louise Catherine Fortier, on June 28, 1969, at St. Mary’s Church in Little Falls, Minnesota
Ron was a civil engineer and retired from Graef, an engineering consulting firm. He was a football and baseball fan. He enjoyed rooting for his Green Bay Packers and liked to follow the Milwaukee Brewers and Minnesota Twins. Ron enjoyed spending time listening to the Paul Harvey show and woodworking. He will be ever remembered not only for “bad dad jokes” but “bad engineering jokes”. His happiest times were spent among his family and treasured those times dearly.
Ron leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of over 51 years, Louise Schweninger; sons, Robert (Tara) Schweninger, Steven (Dawn) Schweninger, Joseph (Sarah) Schweninger, Andrew (Kristine) Schweninger, Jeffrey Schweninger; grandchildren, Ronald, Jacob, Gabriel, Steven, Jr., Christopher, Andrew, Jr. “AJ”, Ethan, Caprice, Paul; sisters, Arlene Masnica, Carol (John) Steffle; sister-in-law, Jan Gustafson; other relatives and dear friends too numerous to mention.
In addition to his parents, Ron is preceded in death by his infant sister, Elaine Schweninger; brothers, Robert (Sue) Schweninger, Norman Schweninger; and brother-in-law, Wayne Masnica.

Bill and I are so sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved husband, and my dear cousin, Ronnie. I remember many happy times at my Aunt Mildred and Uncle Bob’s, with all of my cousins. Very special times.
