The Celebration of Her Life will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021 10:00am at Greater Mt. Eagle Baptist Church, 929 State Street, Racine, WI.Β Visitation will be in the church from 9:00am until the time of service. Interment will take place in Graceland Cemetery.

Racine, WI. – Ruby (nee: Pittman) Marsh, age 79, passed away at Ascension All-Saints Hospital on October 15, 2021. Ruby was born to the late Lloyd and Martha (nee: Fleming) Pittman on May 23, 1942, in Horn Lake, Mississippi. Ruby acknowledged faith in Christ at an early age and was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in South Haven, Mississippi, under the leadership of Pastor J.H. Coray, until she moved to Racine, Wisconsin in 1966. She then joined Greater Mount Eagle Baptist Church where she was faithfully serving as a Deaconess. Ruby was united in marriage to Eddie Marsh for over forty years. They had enough love in their hearts to adopt three additional daughters: Loretta, Shanette, and Yolanda.
Ruby was employed by Societyβs Assets as a caregiver. In her leisure time, she enjoyed cooking, reading, needlework and spending time with family and friends. She loved to laugh and tell good stories.
Fond memories will be cherished by all those who knew and loved her. She will be missed by her husband, Eddie Marsh of Racine, WI; her son, Willie L. Wilkins of Racine, WI; her four daughters, Gloria J. Kirby of Racine, WI, Loretta Pittman and Shanette (Clarence) Pittman-Sanders both of Memphis, Tennessee, and Yolanda D. Lawson of Racine, WI; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her brother, Harvey Pittman of Memphis, Tennessee; her sister, Iola (Albert) Harris of Mississippi; her goddaughters, Denise (Johnny) Pierce, Ann Morro, and Seenie Lawson-Mint; two stepchildren, Kenny and Renee Posey Williams; one brother-in-law, Frank (Phyllis) Marsh; her good friend Ada Wray; as well as other family and friends who were dear to her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Joe Lee, Lloyd Jr., Lewis B. and Johnny B. Pittman; her granddaughter, Starkeisha Wilkins; her mother-in-law, Idell Marsh; her brothers-in-law, Lonnie, Joseph and Bentley Marsh; her sisters-in-law, Ida Mae Lott and Mattie Jones.
