I will never forget the day I called Russ to inquire about the Steve Hall concerts at St. Lucy’s church. He was so open about how he was able to get Steve Hall to come to Racine to share his piano talents. Russ told me he and Steve had shared a very special friendship through the years until Steve’s untimely passing. I am sure Russ will be enjoying Steve’s music once again in Heaven.
I so very much appreciated Russ’ efforts as they were enjoyed by so many people.
My deepest sympathy to the family!

Sympathies to the family. I went to school with Russell at St Ambrose Academy and was with him in the 10th Infantry in Germany during WWII. I had recently run into him while at lunch at Family Restaurant. It was good to see him. He was a really nice guy and will be missed by his family. God’s Blessings.

I knew him. I didn’t see him much, but his loss has taken a heavy toll on my family. I’ll never forget Christmas morning many years ago in his cozy home with Mary Ann and his sons. We took turns exchanging gifts and I remember him in his brown chair. I remember his contagious laugh and his yummy cookies. I’ll miss you forever, gramps.
