Order Flowers from Family Selected Florists
Miller's FlowersRACINE – Ruth G. Harris, 75, passed away at Ascension All Saints on Tuesday, December 8, 2020.
She was born to Ann Zupek on August 1, 1945, and raised at Southern Wisconsin Center in Union Grove.
Ruth will be deeply missed by her volunteer guardian since Feb. 6, 1995, Margaret Jung (nee Eckert) and family, Peter, Rebecca, Thomas, and Sarah of Franksville. She is also survived by countless caregivers over her lifetime and dear friend Ron from RRC. Ruth loved music, most notably Elvis, dancing, walking, bowling, reading her Bible, warm clothes, shopping, any fast food, ice cream, games, and getting her nails manicured, with a collection of over 100 bottles of nail polish. Her smile would light up the room, and she always had a gleam in her eye.
A special “Thank you” to the staff at Racine Residential Care (1985-2009), especially Ann, Roni, and the entire Steffens family; Goodwill, Careers, and Easter Seals programs; Ginger and staff at Four Seasons Home (2009-2015); Heritage Home (2015-2020), especially Rachel and Erica; Community Care staff, including Kathy and Keri; Grande Prairie Rehab including Melinda and Katie; and most recently Luis and staff at Marina Home. There are undoubtedly countless others who knew and loved Ruth–your unending patience and commitment to compassionate care will never be forgotten.
