Derrick "Peter" Nesby says
Ruth was my oldest half sister (I am Jessie Lee Nesby’s youngest child). I only remember meeting Ruth once at my brother Rickie’s in July 1988 where I also met her mother and got to see my oldest two brothers, Eddie Lee and Johnny Lee. She and her mother were very kind to me. Treated as if she had know me my whole life. I wish I had known her better. I was only a child at the time but I could tell she was a loving and caring woman.
