
Soledad A. Ramirez, 84, passed away at the Lincoln Village Convalescent Center, on Sunday, May 18. 2014. Mrs. Ramirez was born in San Juan de Guadalupe. Durango, Mexico, on November 12, 1929, the daughter of the late Jose and Monica (nee: Aldaco) Adame. Mrs. Ramirez was a longtime member of Cristo Rey Parish.
Surviving are her children, Roberto (Asuncion) Moreno, Monterrey, Mexico, Ramiro (Hope) Moreno, of Racine, Amador (Silvia) Moreno, Milwaukee, Alicia (Antonio) Aguero, of Monterrey, Mexico, Concepcion (Noe) Gomez, Rosa (Mario) Barrera, Ricardo (Joann) Adame, all of Racine, Teresa (Miguel) Rodriguez) of Puerto Rico; 19 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren, and her sister, Virginia Adame, in Mexico. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ramirez was preceded in death by her first husband, Ignacio Moreno in 1954, her second husband, Mercedes Ramirez in 1991, and by her brothers, Lorenzo, Benjamin, Refugio, and Ismael; her sisters, Carmela, Mariana, Baselisa, and Elisa.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Cristo Rey Parish, 8th and College Ave., on Thursday, May 22nd at 10:30 a.m., with Rev. Antony Thomas officiating. Visitation will be in the church on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Kinzie Ave.
