Kenosha – Teresa “Terry” Lee (nee: Kelleher) Baltes, age 67, passed away peacefully at Brookside Care Center early Sunday morning, February 4, 2018 following a courageous battle with cancer.
Teresa was born in Racine on July 5, 1950 to the late Vivian and Helen (nee: Reszka) Kelleher. Moving to Kenosha as a child, Terry graduated from St. Joseph’s High School – Kenosha in 1968. After graduating from cosmetology school, she served the Kenosha community as a hairstylist for over 40 years, retiring in 2014.
Terry was united in marriage with the love of her life, Wayne Baltes, on August 19, 1972 in St. George Catholic Church – Kenosha. She was a longtime member of St. George Catholic Church, now known as St. Elizabeth, where she was active with the choir, parish festivals and Lenten fish fries. Terry also volunteered as a Girl Scout leader and volleyball coach. Among her interests, Terry enjoyed exploring cookbooks, playing golf, camping & fishing – especially in Hayward, WI; and was a great listener who could always offer good advice to someone in need. Above all, she loved spending time with her entire family – especially her siblings and grandchildren.
Surviving are her loving husband of over 45 years, Wayne; their daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer & James Bezotte; adored grandchildren, Kennedy Hohmeier and Chelsea Bezotte; sisters, Mary Beth (Alex) Lindqvist, Patsy (Peter) Fanduzzi, Kathy (Ronald) Conforti and Verda Wolf; brother, Bryant (JoJo) Kelleher, all of Kenosha; mother-in-law, Mildred Baltes; sisters-in-law, Mary (Raud) Wilke and Jackie Baltes; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends – too numerous to mention all by name.
In addition to her parents, Terry was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Carl Baltes; and brother-in-law, Michael Baltes.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 7:00 pm in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home with Father Sean Granger officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 – 7:00 pm.

So S orry for your loss. I knew Terry when my brother, Neil, married Verda. We were close in age and would have fun together as a couple of tweens could. My condolences to all the family.

To the family of Terry Baltes,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of my former classmate from St. Joes HS. Terry invited me over to her parents tavern during our high school years where I met some of the family. Terry was always so warm and friendly. I send my deepest sympathy to all at this time of loss. May you be comforted and blessed. Know that you are in my prayers. My heart goes out to you.
