A celebration of Tom’s life will take place at Richard’s Bar and BBQ (3458 Rapids Drive) on Friday, August 23, 2024; from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
MOUNT PLEASANT – Mr. Thomas P. Bosanec, 77, passed away at Ascension All Saints on Saturday, July 27, 2024.
He was born in Racine on August 9, 1946, the son of John and Ann (nee Perekovich) Bosanec. He graduated from St. Catherine’s High School in 1964.
Tom was united in marriage with Sue Dykstra on June 15, 1968. She preceded him in death on June 17, 2016.
He retired from S.C. Johnson and enjoyed traveling with his wife, golfing, fine bourbon and cigars, video poker, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Tom is survived by his sons, Paul Bosanec and Brad (Jaci) Bosanec; his grandchildren, Isabella, Jonah, and Luka; his sister-in-law, Sharon Bosanec; his nieces and nephew; Janet (Andy) Ingraham Dwyer, Susan Ingraham (Steve Holtebeck), Jenni Sailor, and Matthew (Jessica) Bosanec; Sue’s brothers and sister, Kent (Debbie) Dykstra, Brian Dykstra, Wendy (Mark) Webber; as well as other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents and wife, Tom was preceded in death by his son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Ann Bosanec; his brother, John Bosanec; his sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Sam Ingraham; and Sue’s parents, Tom and Charlene Dykstra.

The family wishes to thank Kimberly, who served as Tom’s caregiver for the past several years, for her compassionate care, support, and friendship. Your kindness and compassion will forever be remembered.

So very sorry to hear of Tom’s passing. He always had a wave and a kind smile. Tom loved to chat a bit when he was sitting outside. He was a fine addition to our condo community and he will be missed.
