Tracey Ann Mead, age 64, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022, at her residence in Racine. Tracey was born in Racine on March 25, 1958, daughter of Keith and Sally (nee. Lyons) Mead.
Tracey was an avid lover of all arts; visual, theater, film, literature & music. She attended UW Milwaukee in the late 80’s early 90’s where she received high honors from the school board in English & Comparative Literature & was on the Dean’s List as well. She enjoyed combing resale shops & garage sales for hidden treasures that she would resell in her store in Milwaukee in the later part of the 90’s & eventually on the internet on various auction websites.
Tracey was a wonderful mother and grandmother who loved her family & all of God’s creatures. She was an activist for animal rights & PETA & even marched for the cause in Washington D.C. She greatly enjoyed gardening & took pride in her many flowers she grew in the yard of her childhood home.
She is survived by: Scott & Sue Mead (Brother & Sister-in-Law), Sarah Mead & Dennis Veach (Daughter & Son-in-Law) Rose Mead (Niece), Keegan, Kaytlin & Keith Rymer (Grandchildren), Madilyn Klass (Great Granddaughter) & Na’Marion Thomas-Rymer (Great Grandson).
She is preceded in death by: Keith & Sally Mead (Father & Mother), & her beloved dog, Princess Sparkles, as well as many other adored pets & family members throughout the years.
