
RACINE – Mr. Van E. King, 65, passed away at his residence on Thursday, July 23, 2015.
He was born in Tupelo, MS on May 30, 1950, the son of the late Collins and Luella (nee: Ewing) King.
Van is survived by his sister, Mary Ruth Lockridge of Racine; his brothers, Thurston King of Kansas City, KS and Otha King of Racine; three special nephews, Montee Lockridge, Eddie (Michelle) Lockridge both of Texas, Antonio (Kia) Lockridge of Florida; two aunts, Willie Mae Willis and Mildred Ewings both of Mississippi, his friend and landlord, Henry Cotton; as well as a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Hazel (Willie) Depriest.
Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. for a service remembering and honoring Van’s life. There will be a visitation in the funeral home on Monday from 10-11 a.m.
