
Racine – Vaughan A. Chattman Sr.; age 34; had his life tragically taken from him on Sunday evening, September 20, 2015 in Racine.
Vaughan was born in Racine on March 9, 1981. On March 29, 2013, he was united in marriage with April Varner. He was a tremendous football fan – especially watching his 10- year-old son play with the RYS Bantam Raiders; trying out various local restaurants; and spending time with his treasured family.
Survived by his beloved wife, April Varner-Chattman; his children, Vaughan A. Chattman, Jr.; Antionette C. Chattman and Angel L.D. Varner; mother, Carol L. Jones; brothers and sisters, Michael Mitchell, Jr., Hope Chattman-White, YaVaughan Chattman, Darlene (Marshon Bogan) Chattman-Bogan, Chavela Velasquez, Joshua Velasquez and Brittany Chattman; mother-In-Law, Stephanie Varner (Mark Conner); a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Vaughan was preceded in death by his father, Vaughan Chattman; and grandparents, Charlotte and William Herron.
Viewing will be at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 from 11 am. – 1 pm. A brief service will follow.
