Victoria Annette Phifer, 56, passed away at her residence on Thursday, December 5, 2013. Victoria was born in Racine, Wisconsin on October 11, 1957 to the late Willie L. and Alvie L. (nee: High) Phifer.
Victoria received her formal education in the Racine Unified School District. Her interest included cooking and listening to music. Victoria was a loving soul who treasured the time spent with her family and friends the most.
Victoria leave to cherish her beautiful memories, her best friend and loving fiancé; Warren Mitchell, her son; Demetrius L. (Nicole) Cannon, grandson; Rodney Johnson, granddaughter; Shana Payne, sister; Barbara M. (Dyland) Weather, brothers; Larry L. Phifer, Eric L. (Rachael) Phifer, Harold L. (Stacey) Phifer, Charles L. (Sharon) Phifer, Ricky L. Phifer, nieces; LaKisha M. Lockridge, Shannon Phifer, Rosetta Phifer, Michelle Hargrove, Carrie Landers, Sheila Phifer, Yolanda Phifer, Theresa Phifer, Asalee Phifer and Brittany Phifer, Nephews; Eric (Gabby) Phifer Jr., Jovantae Phifer, Krisjan Phifer and Alandre Phifer, a special aunt Loralean Golden and many other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, brother; Dennis L. Phifer and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Victoria will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family would like express their sincere gratitude to the Claridge House and United Hospital employees for all of the tender care and kindness given to Victoria and her family during her illness.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, December 13, 2013, 11am, at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home, 4600 County Line Rd, with Evang. Charles Gates officiating. Visitation will be from 9am until the time of service. Interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery.
