Racine – William “Bill” Dumovich, 54, received the promise of eternal life on December 15, 2013. He was born in Sheboygan on August 19, 1959, son of the late Louis and Patricia (nee: Koehler) Dumovich.
Bill was united in marriage to the love of his life, Susan Mary Benzow, on November 13, 1982, in Sheboygan.
Bill graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1978. He spent most of his career as a purchasing manager for Usinger’s. Bill was currently employed at Therma Systems Corporation. Bill thoroughly enjoyed coaching his boys in the RYS football program and when he wasn’t coaching you could find Bill hunting, fishing or four wheeling as an avid outdoorsman. Bill and his family enjoyed spending time together at the cabin, Twin Maples. Along with Bill’s love for the outdoors and spending time with his family, he had a true passion for cooking. Bill was also a fan of Harley Davidson and loved riding his motorcycle. He was a huge Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers fan. Bill also spent many years raising pigeons and flying them for weddings and funerals. Above all, he was a family man and treasured the time that he spent with his entire family.
Bill leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 31 years, Sue “Suess” Dumovich of Racine; children, Heather (Denny) Varsho of Marshfield, William (Heather) Dumovich of Racine, Rob (Emily) Dumovich of Eagle River; grandchildren, Delaney and Grayson Varsho, Adalyn and Annistyn Dumovich, Brady and Maxx Dumovich; sister, Kathleen Nickels of Sheboygan; father-in-law, Rollie Benzow, Sr.; sisters-in-laws, Pam (Jim) Cremer, Glenna (Ron) Ensweiler, Paula (Herb) Meyer, Holly (Phillip) Pittner, Kellie (Leif) Haugland, Laura Dumovich; brothers-in-laws, John (Donna) Benzow, Rollie (Tammy) Benzow, Jr., Jimmy Benzow; best friends, Scotty (Therese) Schultz, Spencer Kaesermann, and Joe Cox; other relatives and dear friends too numerous to mention. He was well known to his beloved nieces and nephews as “Uncle Stinky”.
In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Dumovich; and mother-in-law, Genevieve Benzow.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 21, 2013, 12:00pm, at St. Richard of Chichester Catholic Church, 1509 Grand Avenue, with Rev. Ronald J. Gramza officiating. Visitation will take place from 10:00am until the time of the Mass.

Sue,
I am so sorry to hear about Bill. I have the fondest memories of Bill going all the way back to early grade school. As tough a guy as Bill was, he was always the most kind hearted, compassionate soul. I have so many good memories from growing up with him. He enriched my life by being part of it, as I know he enriched yours and so many others.
